We are delighted to introduce The Grub Hub, which will offer delicious savoury and sweet choices in one place. Foodie offerings include savoury offerings from Pieman, J2 Sushi, Smokin’ Bones, Barry John’s Sausages, Sheskin Smoked Salmon and Kono Pizza Ireland and tasty treats from Cornude Artisan Popcorn, The Rolling Donut and Mr. Muffin Man!

Jason Cheng, sushi chef extraordinaire and owner of J2 Sushi places an emphasis on fresh, quality fish caught in Irish waters. This fish is delivered fresh from Wright’s of Marino, wood-smoked by the chefs and hand-made into little pieces of fishy heaven by the J2 team. J2 Sushi also only use Irish meat sourced from Dublin’s own F.X. Buckley’s. In fact most of what they cook and serve is Irish, and J2 Sushi prepare everything on-site from scratch including their soy sauce! Impressive eh?
Smokin Bones is Dublin's latest Barbecue restaurant situated on 34 Dame street Dublin 2. Grown from a stall at Herbert Park Barbecue festival in 2014, Smokin’ Bones serves authentic ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Smokin Bones priced themselves on sourcing the best possible local ingredients and by simply cooking with wood and time, “Low n’ Slow “, they create an authentic barbecue taste. Mmmmm…
Well-known to festival-goers, Pieman regularly attend trade-shows and popular events. Their artisanal products are also stocked in some of Ireland's favourite venues and their very own Templebar Pieman café is now open 7 days a week! Using only the freshest ingredients, each pie is made with love in a Dublin kitchen, filled to the brim with meat, vegetables, fresh herbs and delicious pastry – pastry heaven!
Barry John’s Sausages
The Crowe Family butchers in Cavan town has become particularly well-known for their award-winning range of 'Barry John Sausages'. Known for their unusual flavour combinations, some past creations have included: white chocolate and honeycomb, pepperoni and cheese pizza, and the famous ‘Bacon and Cabbage’ sausage. Barry Crowe, the creator of the sausages has appeared on Big Week on the Farm where he broke the Guinness world record for the most sausages made in one minute – completing sixty!!! Make sure to taste the spicebag flavour on offer at this year’s fair for lucky attendees.
Kono Pizza Ireland
Not only have we pizza at this year’s fair… but we have pizza kones! Offering an innovative and mess-free way to enjoy your favourite pizza, Kono offer pizza in kones, salad options and a dessert flavour too. Kono Pizza Ireland was founded in September 2017 by Graham Mulcahy & Alan Dickenson. It is the Irish franchise of the popular American Kono Pizza brand. The franchise opened in December 2018 with a food truck offering and concession store at Ireland’s newest sports and science attraction Explorium. Come try the only Irish pizza kone available!
The Rolling Donut
The Rolling Donut is an Irish owned family business founded by Michael Quinlan in 1978, after a trip to London inspired Michael to bring the donut to the people of Ireland! What began as a small kiosk on O’Connell street has expanded exponentially since 2016 – and with five stores now operating around Dublin and Kildare the business is going from strength to strength. They will have their scrumptious midi sourdough donuts available with a selection of their vast regular and vegan ranges to suit all tastes!
Specialising in hand made, luxury popcorn, Cornude produces popcorn in bulk for events and the service industry in 20 different flavours. Founded by Ruth Ormiston in 2014, Cornude has received several awards and accolades since the company was founded including bronze at the Irish Food Awards in Dingle in October 2016; Best Food Start up at The Irish Food Awards 2015; Blas na hEireann awards in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and Best in Ireland in the McKennas Guides in 2015,16,17 and most recently, in 2018. Sheskin Smoked Salmon
Based outside Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, Sheskin smoked salmon is ran by husband and wife duo Pat and Zoe Armitage. With backgrounds in the food industry as chefs and restaurant entrepreneurs – the couple moved to Ireland in 2014 to being their innovative ready-to-eat candied smoked salmon to Irish tastebuds.
