The Porterhouse Brewing Company

In 1996, Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart founded Irelands first brewpub in the heart of Dublin city, Temple bar. Porterhouse, with their 10 barrel brew pub was the first pub in the land to not stock Guinness, choosing instead to serve only their own stouts, ales and lagers.  Popularity grew over time and in 2017, continued expansion led to the opening of a 120 barrel brewery to keep up with the demand, which had now grown to worldwide exportation. This latest development has enabled Porterhouse to be more experimental and innovate their product range further. Currently employing over 40 people, there are plans to further recruit as they also focus on expanding their export division.

Their product portfolio includes 16 products across beers, stouts, lagers, pale ales, IPA's, ales, pilsners, and barrel aged beers; and have hopes to develop a further 9 beers in 2019.
